Join other young women in learning about the incredible opportunities in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Our Girls in STEAM programs are all about helping the kids in our community utilize their natural curiosity and encouraging their interests in STEAM. Make new friends, strengthen your voice, and have some fun with hands-on, STEAM-based activities!

Girls Who Code

A free program for Grades 4-12

Museum of Natural Curiosity

Thanksgiving Point is proud to partner with Girls Who Code as a host site! This 12-session course meets weekly and teaches coding fundamentals in a fun and comfortable environment as your students use their creativity to build their own games!

Girls in STEAM: Makerspace Design

A Free program for Grades 5-10

Museum of Natural Curiosity

In this 12-week program we will emphasize the importance of the design and engineering process while using some of the tools in our makerspace. Students will design a logo to use as the basis for learning graphic design, screen printing, laser cutting, and more! 

Makerspace Design welcomes all gender identities that want to be a part of a female-empowering environment!

Girls in STEAM: Science Exploration

A free program for grades 3-7

Museum of Natural Curiosity

Our Science Exploration program is a 12-week club geared toward grades 3-7. Students will explore different science fields and enjoy immersive experiences in our venues. We will cover topics ranging from Entomology and Paleontology to Robotics and Engineering! 

Science Exploration welcomes all gender identities that want to be a part of a female-empowering environment!
